Is lithium battery charging fast means the life will finished?
1. lithium battery charging time = battery capacity / charging current, that is to say the length of li ion battery
filling (charging to 4.2V) has a great relationship with the charging current, the larger the charging current, the
shorter time will need. However, the speed of charging does not have much to do with battery life.
2. Normally, lithium batteries charge more than 80% of the nominal capacity of the battery before charging to 4.2V.
3. discharge capacity is related to temperature and current. Under special circumstances, it will be greater than charging
capacity.
Lithium batteries have the characteristics of fast charging. Using a constant current constant voltage li ion battery
charger with a rated voltage of 4.2V, lithium ion batteries can be filled for 1.5--2.5 hours, and the newly developed
lithium iron phosphate and lithium titanate batteries can be filled in 35 minutes.
